Outilix collects no personal data: no account, no sign-up. Your text and files are processed in your browser, and the few files sent to the server are deleted after 1 hour. Google AdSense ads set cookies only according to your choice, and PayPal alone handles payments.

What is saved on your device
Outilix uses your browser's local storage for your preferences only. This information is never sent to our servers.

These items are strictly necessary for the site to work, so they do not require consent. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Files and text
When you drop a file or type text, the work happens in your browser and nothing is transmitted. Tools that need server processing (Word to PDF, for example) say so on their page: the file travels over an encrypted connection, is converted, then is deleted automatically within 1 hour. We do not read it, copy it or use it for anything else.
Paying for creations
Payment takes place on PayPal. Outilix never sees your name, email address or card number. PayPal is responsible for processing that data under its own privacy policy, and it emails you the receipt.
On our side, for each purchase we keep: the PayPal order number, the tool purchased, the language, the amount, the date and a random download token that is valid for 24 hours. None of this identifies you. We use it to deliver your file, to handle a refund request and to meet our accounting obligations.
Server logs and rate limits
Like any website, our host records connection IP addresses in technical logs for security, for the period required by law. To limit abuse, some services apply a per-IP usage limit based on an irreversible fingerprint that is kept for a few minutes or hours.
Contact form
The message you send (and your email address, if you enter one) reaches us by email. We use it only to reply, and we keep it as long as needed to follow up on your request.
Ads and analytics
The free tools show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure these ads, which may be personalized based on your visits. On your first visit, Google's consent window lets you accept, decline or choose; you can change your mind at any time from that window's privacy settings link. Data processed by Google is covered by Google's own privacy policy. Outilix receives no personally identifying data. Payment pages never show ads.
Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to its use. Because we keep nothing that identifies you, most of these rights have nothing specific to act on, but you can write to us from the contact page about any request. We do not sell or share personal information. If you live in the EU, you can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
